In 1996 Medright was the first school to develop curriculums for the entry level positions in healthcare. These successful programs provided classroom instruction with hands on experience followed by a Clinical Rotation. The programs were initially a path for employees of a medical facility to advance into a higher paying and more secure position. The educational opportunities were then given to individuals looking to start a career in healthcare. in 1999 Medright became the first school in Michigan to have a Phlebotomy program approved by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences. A prestigious honor recognizing the caliber of excellence in our educational program.
Medright has had successful partnerships with Beaumont Health and Ascension. We have also partnered with St. Joseph Mercy and University of Michigan. Thousands of students have either advanced in their positions or started new careers as a result of attending
By becoming a non-profit Medright can obtain grants from corporations that share our mission statement to provide exceptional educational opportunities at an affordable price to our community members.
